As a mentor, you'll be paired with a new or newer judge from your geographical area.
Here’s how you can help:

Introduce Yourself: Reach out to your mentee and offer support. Let them know what you can assist with and encourage them to ask questions. If you're unsure about something, don’t hesitate to connect with other judges for answers.

Navigate the USAG, NAWGJ, and NAWGJ-NYN websites

Help with exam information, professional memberships, and judging updates

Assist with practice judging education and provide access to judging aids and materials

Explain Key Processes:

Clarify testing procedures, CPE records, Gymjas, and Rules & Policies

Set Up Practice Judging Sessions:

Arrange either in-person or online sessions with full routines

Focus on shorthand, cast angles, degree of split, and up-to deductions
